Getting There
Florence is easily accessible by train. We traveled from Rome’s Termini Station to Firenze Santa Maria Novella, Florence’s main station, which served as our hub for exploring the city and making side trips to Pisa and Bologna.

Trattoria Za Za: This restaurant is a gem! The flavors of their meats, pastas, and wines are unforgettable. Make sure to get a reservation, as it’s always busy.

Day Trip to Pisa
From Florence, a quick train ride brings you to Pisa Centrale. Plan a day trip to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Despite the rainy weather, the experience was enchanting.
